# Billing & Usage

> Managing your Better Data Cloud subscription

Better Data uses an entitlement-based billing model. Your plan determines which features are available and how many requests you can make per hour.

## Tiers at a Glance

## Usage Limits

Limits are enforced on a **rolling hour** basis.

* If you exceed your limit, the gateway will return a `429 Too Many Requests` error.
* You can monitor your current usage in the **Billing** section of the dashboard.
* Bursting is allowed up to 10% of your hourly limit for short durations.

## Managing Subscription

You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan at any time from the dashboard.

* **Upgrades**: Effective immediately.
* **Downgrades**: Effective at the end of the current billing cycle.
* **Payment**: We accept all major credit cards via Stripe.
