# Planning Recommendations

> How to view and use planning recommendations for replenishment

# Planning Recommendations

Planning recommendations suggest optimal replenishment actions based on forecasts, current inventory, and policies.

## Viewing Recommendations

1. Navigate to **Plan** → **Planning Recommendations**
2. View recommendations by:
   * **Product**: Recommendations per product
   * **Location**: Recommendations per location
   * **Channel**: Recommendations per channel
   * **Priority**: High, medium, low priority

## Recommendation Types

### Replenishment Recommendations

Suggest when and how much to order:

* **Reorder Point**: When to place order
* **Order Quantity**: How much to order
* **Supplier**: Recommended supplier
* **Lead Time**: Expected delivery time

### Transfer Recommendations

Suggest transfers between locations:

* **From Location**: Source location
* **To Location**: Destination location
* **Quantity**: Amount to transfer
* **Reason**: Why transfer is recommended

### Safety Stock Adjustments

Suggest safety stock level changes:

* **Current Safety Stock**: Current level
* **Recommended Safety Stock**: Recommended level
* **Reason**: Why adjustment is needed

## Recommendation Details

View detailed information:

* **Forecast**: Forecasted demand
* **Current Inventory**: Current on-hand quantity
* **ATP**: Available to promise
* **Policy**: Relevant policies (reorder point, safety stock)
* **Calculations**: How recommendation was calculated

## Executing Recommendations

1. Select recommendations to execute
2. Review details
3. Click **Execute** or **Create Purchase Order**
4. System will:
   * Create purchase order (if applicable)
   * Create transfer (if applicable)
   * Update planning status
